Built to Help Businesses Make Better AI Decisions

TAKTOS exists because small business owners are being pushed toward AI tools before anyone examines how the work actually runs.

We educate, diagnose, and advise so decisions happen in the right order.

Every engagement starts with understanding where you are.

Our Mission

To help small and mid-sized businesses make better AI decisions by understanding the work before choosing the tool.

We help owners and teams learn what AI can do, examine how work actually happens, and decide what should happen next.

No software sales. No implementation. No pressure to adopt AI before the business is ready.

What this means in practice

Every conversation starts with questions about the business, not about tools. We examine how work moves, where it breaks, and what needs to change first.

From there, we educate, diagnose, and advise. The client does the work. We provide the structure and judgment to help them do it in the right order.

Why the Name TAKTOS

TAKTOS comes from the Greek word taktós, meaning ordered or arranged in proper sequence.

That idea shapes our work. Before a business adds AI, it needs order around workflows, ownership, decisions, and judgment.

AI belongs only after that foundation is understood.

Our Story

The problem we saw

Small business owners were hearing about AI everywhere, but most advice started in the wrong place.

The conversation usually started with tools, demos, subscriptions, or automation. The real questions were often left unanswered.

  • What work is breaking?
  • Who owns the decision?
  • What process needs to change first?
  • Where would AI help, and where would it add noise?

How we responded

Founder Chuck Rayman, a veteran operator and sales leader with 30+ years working directly with SMBs, built a structured approach: clear education, focused diagnosis, and guidance that comes before any tool discussion.

TAKTOS was built to reverse the order most businesses follow.

What we built

A repeatable way to help small and mid-sized businesses bring order and discipline to AI decisions. Education first. Diagnosis before tools. Advice without software sales.

Our Guiding Principles

1
Diagnose before recommending

We examine how the business operates before discussing tools.

2
Educate before adoption

People need to understand the goal, the limits, and the risk before AI enters the workflow.

3
Advise without selling software

We do not implement systems, resell tools, or push adoption for its own sake.

Meet the Founder

Chuck Rayman, Founder and Principal Advisor

Chuck has spent more than 30 years in B2B sales and operations leadership across the ProAV and technology sectors.

Across hundreds of conversations with business owners, he saw the same pattern: genuine interest in AI, uncertainty about where to begin, and no trusted guide who spoke in business terms.

TAKTOS was built for that exact gap.

Chuck brings a business-first lens to AI decisions. The work is not about chasing tools. It is about understanding the operation, identifying what needs to change, and helping owners decide what comes next.

Start in the right place

If you need education, start with a workshop.

If you need a focused conversation, book a working session.

If you need a formal diagnostic, start with a Business Check.
